Following a conversation with two friends where I asked “what does your perfect day look like?”. It is only fair that I share my answer. Enjoy! :)

Soooooo… My attempt at a perfect day:

I was excited before going to bed lol, like the rush of thinking like I’m about to get my life together. I got to bed at 10pm.
… I slept at 1:30am 🙃

6AM wake up & coffee in the morn -
I still woke up at 6am tho still excited to try going downstairs and having a coffee in the garden.
REVIEW: It was so cold in the garden lol because of the wind. But I did feel so good being up already and not feeling like I have to rush at all. I did get to read as well and the thoughts during reading stuck with me during the day.
Overall — I would do this again 👌🏽.

GOING TO WORK EARLIER
Because I had such a head start I got into work 10 min earlier than usual and it was PENG… I felt like the bossman lol. I didn’t feel tired yet at this point tho.

About 2 hours in after a really intense non-stop working, I started feeling a bit groggy and was reallyyyyy hoping the time would hurry up so I could eat my lunch (I made salmon salad last night and brought it in).

REVIEW: this part of the perfect day is toughhh, because I woke up so early, it felt so long waiting to have my first meal of the day. On the other hand, I did feel more energetic in the morning not having anything to eat but coffee/tea.
Overall: maybe I should incorporate some kind of early breakfast snack? 👀.

MORE WORK BLAH BLAH BLAH. SKIP

HOME TIME
Ideally I wanted to get changed immediately to go for a 45min ish walk BUT ofc I got asked to take Cassie to Kumon at 5 :((. Pretty much got home and went straight to kumon.
HOWEVER — I did still fit in a 30min walk! And whilst I was waiting for Cassie I read a really interesting blog about why you should start blogging. P.S. you should start blogging.

REVIEW: this is a tough one, idk how easily I can keep a walking habit up everyday without tapping in to some willpower. It’s not fun walking in such hot weather ewww. Idk how to fix this but I do know I still enjoyed the walk at points… Maybe I should be more okay with doing shorter walks? As long as I did walk?
OVERALL — would like to keep walking straight after work before going in the house. But will try and find things to listen to that I enjoy so I can do it whilst walking… Coffee on three maybe??

EVENING
My perfect evening will consist of:
* Having movie night (will do at 8:30).
* Reading 10 more pages of my book (probably just before bed).

So far it looks like doing these things will be easy peasey 👌🏽

NOTE:
There were things I did the moment I got home (the day before) that felt like “intentions” and “actions of commitment”. First thing I did was put together a quick salmon salad and put it in the fridge. So I wouldn’t be tempted to buy food at work. Next I unplugged the PS4 Lol and put the power cable in a diff room. And lastly I put out the clothes I would wear to go for a walk.

I might’ve underestimated the affects of doing these things BC idk if I would’ve still done my perfect day if I hadn’t done them. At first I thought doing it was just to set my mind right… But it turns out it set the tone of everything that would happen the next day (today).

Hope u enjoyed reading, blehh
